Dr. Anthony Wong is a distinguished corporate trainer, human resources leader, public speaker, moderator, lecturer, and leadership researcher active across Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, and the Asia Pacific region. With 26 years of leadership experience as the head of HR in diverse industries—including media (SCMP), logistics (DHL), retail (Dairy Farm), FMCG (Nestlé), eCommerce (RedMart), manufacturing (Avery Dennison and Johnson Electric), and hi-tech (Sony)— Anthony brings a wealth of knowledge to his roles.
He has 20 years of training expertise, focusing on leadership, communication, presentation, storytelling, strategic planning, marketing hackathons, design thinking, problem-solving, customer service, talent management, total rewards, performance management, employee engagement, and industrial relations. Anthony regularly designs and facilitates workshops on leadership and soft skills for corporations, NGOs, universities, and civil service organizations. He also moderates panel discussions, coaches senior executives, and provides strategic advice on business and people management.
In addition to his corporate work, Anthony is a lecturer at several universities in Hong Kong and Mainland China. He conducts research and publishes papers on leadership, HR management, and ESG/DEI, with a special emphasis on disability inclusion. He serves as an Associate Researcher at SBS Swiss Business School and is the Assistant Editor of the SBS Journal of Applied Business Research. Moreover, Anthony holds key positions on various boards, including Vice-Chairperson of the Advisory Board of Hong Kong Red Cross, HR Committee Member of Oxfam Hong Kong, and a member of the HKUST MBA Corporate Advisory Board.
He earned his BBA from the Hong Kong University of Science & Technology and holds two master's degrees—one from the University of Hong Kong and another in applied business research—along with a Doctorate in Business Administration from SBS Swiss Business School. Anthony is a Fellow of the Hong Kong Institute of Human Resource Management (HKIHRM), a DDI Certified Facilitator of Performance Management, a DDI Qualified Targeted Selection Interviewer, and a Franklin Covey Certified Facilitator in Presentation Advantage.
