The VEC successfully concludes its Global Virtual Exchange Masterclass Series with the final session, themed “From AI Tools to AI Creative Partners: Transforming Image, Video & Multimedia Marketing”.



The Virtual Exchange Centre (VEC) successfully concluded its Global Virtual Exchange Masterclass Series with the final session, themed “From AI Tools to AI Creative Partners: Transforming Image, Video & Multimedia Marketing” in March, which was made possible with the support of the HKBU Century Club. A closing ceremony was officiated by guest speaker, Mr. Roger Kan, VP of Strategic Partnerships at Cosmose, Dr. Tsen Wai Sing, Division Leader of Communication and Ms. Anna Yuen, Academic Coordinator of Creative Communication and Person-in-Charge of VEC, marking the successful completion of the series and celebrating global collaboration as well as the enhancement of students’ cross-cultural learning experience.

The event attracted over 370 participants, including 35 HKBU and SCE students, as well as over 330 online attendees from the UK, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Lebanon, Malaysia, Thailand, and the Philippines, all passionate about the impact of artificial intelligence and its evolution from a supportive tool to a creative partner.

During the sharing session, Mr. Kan explored the transformative journey of artificial intelligence in content creation, highlighting recent advancements in AI and their applications in strategic communication, visual design, and video content production. By demonstrating how these innovations are revolutionizing professional practices, he provided valuable insights into the evolving landscape and the growing significance of AI-driven solutions in content development.

Following the presentation, HKBU and SCE students collaborated with their global peers to create AI-generated composites across categories such as fashion, skincare, automotive, and beverage, under Mr. Kan’s guidance. The students showcased their AI-generated works, which featured a range of creative elements.

With the support of the HKBU Century Club, VEC successfully launched three Masterclasses: Influencer Marketing in November 2025, Global Talent Development in February, and Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Digitalization in March 2026. These Masterclasses have equipped students with cutting-edge skills and fostered meaningful intercultural exchange throughout the series. VEC extends its sincere gratitude to all participants and looks forward to continuing its efforts in future global initiatives.
