About VEC

Virtual communication has become a common mode of teaching, learning, and knowledge transfer in higher education across the world. In line of the worldwide tendency, the Virtual Exchange Centre (VEC) was established by the School of Continuing Education of Hong Kong Baptist University in 2022 with the support funded by the Quality Enhancement Support Scheme (QESS).

The Virtual Exchange Centre is committed to facilitating students’ international exposure. We provide, organise and coordinate various services and opportunities to help students’ visual grow holistically. Our mission is to transform students into more global competence young persons with a deeper understanding of different cultures, perspectives, ways of thinking, and who are able to communicate effectively with people from diverse backgrounds.
